The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application process.
Applications are actually open and can shut on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to fulfill the subsequent requirements:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who emanates from a house that has a combined gross domestic earnings that does not exceed R350 000 per annum.

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent nsfas status citizens from households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.
Applicants are reminded to deliver the right Identity Doc numbers, names, and surname, as reflected inside their South 2025 nsfas application African ID.
NSFAS only funds individuals who are finding out or intend to research at a general public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who wish to study in any of the website public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until the last day.
Learners do not have to wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and avoid delays in the processing of their application.
